Again, one the most iconic lines in the 20th century has been changed. Whether it's by something supernatural or Orwellian,1984-style rewriting history, I don't know, but "they" will not confuse us because we know what was said.
Sally Fields' (no, not Field's) famous line "You like me. You really like me." has been changed to "You like me. Right now, you like me." I saw this acceptance speech at its original airing in 1984 and many times after that. This is not what she said.
We all know that in modern times, video can be doctored. Glad that there is the written word to back us up and prove that we are not all crazy.
