Volkswagon or Volkswagen? - Quantum / Mandela Effect 'd

Comments

  1. "Volkswagen" actually means "people's car" in German ("Wagen" is "car" in German). That's why "Volkswagon" looks so strange. It doesn't make any sense (a "Wagon" is the wagon of a train).

    1. As a language nerd, I know this, but in the U.S., it was spelled "wagon" in the past. There are newspaper and web articles on this blog showing it spelled "wagon". This whole thing is indeed very strange! http://mandelaeffectproof.blogspot.com/2016/09/volkswagen.html

This is a good example of why I think that the Mandela effect is caused by a shift between parallel dimensions. This is a completely random change that makes a brand name look nonsensical. The same thing can also be said about certain movie lines. In "Jaws" the famous line "we're going to need a bigger boat" that's spoken by Chief Brody is now "you're going to need a bigger boat". This doesn't make any sense, because Brody is on the same boat as Hooper and Quint and they're all chasing the shark together. A random change like this could be explained by a shift into another dimension.
