In many silhouettes, we can find the original shape and size of the building.
Just to show you that I'm not making mistakes, these buildings are indeed listed as being The Taj Mahal. They are clearly way bigger than the current building.

My roommate lived in India in 2001-2002. The Taj Mahal was smaller than it appeared in photos, according to him. I saw lots of photos he took, but I don't remember a lot of specifics, only that some of his photos the TM looked very different than others that he had based on the perspective he took the photo from . This one might be angle, lighting, time of day, shadows.
ReplyDeleteI thought about the different angles and lighting, but in some photos, the size just doesn't seem to match up with the current image and what I remember seeing in photos years ago. Strange indeed!
