Sometimes, I think that The Mandela Effect is here to weed out those who are aware of their surrounds and those who are not. These seemingly insignificant changes can show who is paying attention and who has their head in the clouds.
You'd think that most people would pay attention to the flag of their country, but if it changed, would anyone notice? How many Americans recognize that the position of the stripes in the American flag have changed?
The current flag shows a white stripe directly under the blue box of stars, but in a previous reality, there was a red stripe directly underneath the blue box. I remember this specifically from drawing pictures of the American flag as a child.
