Australia hasn't moved anywhere. The Earth is a sphere, and cannot be perfectly drawn on a flat plane. All they have done is rendered the globe using more than one projection. Calm down.
Let's disregard this map and look at another. Since when has Australia been all the way up by Indonesia? It was called "Down Under" because it was isolated and surrounded by water and far away from any other continent.
Then there is South America. How is now SE of North America instead of under is? If you travel straight down from New England, you're practically on the West coast of S. America. I don't have an explanation why the ME is happening, but something is up.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh. Quantum effect does not necessarily explain ME. Not debunking ME, just saying it's not quite relevant.
