On August 29th 2016, we learned that Gene Wilder, one of America's favorite actors, had passed away. For many of us, this was the 2nd time we'd heard of Mr. Wilder passing.
I personally remember him passing away years ago. I remember reading it in a newspaper and thinking that it was so sad that both he and his wife, Gilda Radner died of cancer.
After his (recent) death, the internet was swarming with posts from people who were shocked that he was still alive. Like me, they have specific memories of learning about his death in the past. The trippy thing is that I found Facebook, RIP tribute pages to Mr. Wilder created in 2012 and 2013.

I'm sure I remember or always thought he died long before I watched willy wanka, like straight after the film in 1971 1974-80s, I will have to ask my grandad, but if he don't believe, I'm officially becoming an alcoholic, maybe not, but to take me out this madness alcohols will do.
