Check Your Cash

This is a big freak out for me. From my memory, Dwight D. Eisenhower was on the dime, but apparently, Franklin Roosevelt has been on the dime since 1946. I have been collecting coins since I was a child and I had to ask myself whether or not I had been mistaken all these years. Nope! I'm not the only one who remembers Eisenhower on the dime.

When you type "Eisenhower dime" into Google, several suggestions come up.

Many sites selling coins offer an "Eisenhower dime", although the face on the dime is FDR.

Plenty of people remember Eisenhower on the dime.

"Eisenhower Dime" is also the name of some type of computer error (who knew?).

Pop music makes references to Eisenhower on the dime.

I guess that in some other universe, Eisenhower was on the dime.
