It's pretty strange that Morton's Salt is now simply Morton Salt. What's even stranger is that the company's website constantly contradicts itself in what the brand is called. I can't find any info on an official name change, but it seems to flip flop through history.
The company was supposedly incorporated as Morton Salt Company in 1910.
As Early as 1911, ads show "Morton's" on the box.

In this ad, the box and the header/footer says "Morton's", but the ad, itself, it says, "Morton". Did someone fail at trying to rewrite history?
