Her Name is Rio...

Apparently, in March, 2016 Rio de Janeiro was still the capital of Brazil.

  1. Like i said before, this is NOT a mandela effect, Rio was capital of Brazil until 1960, people in the 70s and some in the 80s were still being taught in school using old books. NOT A MANDELA EFFECT.

    1. I'll pretty repeat my comment from my other post about Rio. This is a Mandela Effect because growing up in the 80s and 90, we were taught that Rio was still the capital. Many people say they never even heard of Brasilia before The Mandela Effect. This article is from 2016, just like the map I showed in the other post that was bought in 2016, which shows Rio as the capital.

This is like every other ME where dates don't match up. Companies say that their logo has been a certain way since 1945 or something, yet people alive in subsequent decades saw a different logo. Same sh*t.
