Gettin' Lay-Z

More things that make me think The Mandela Effect isn't supernatural, but that we have our own Ministry of Truth rewriting history. According to the 1974 ad above (the year I was born), America's most popular recliner brand was spelled La-Z-Boy, yet newspaper ads from the same year spell the product the way most Americans know it, Lay-Z-Boy.

From the 70s until 2017, Lay-Z-Boy is all people know.

So, everyone has gotten it wrong for decades?
We're all just "misremembering"? Yeah, right!
